The Thunder Iran Hit Canada in OQTJAPAN
In the first match of the second day of Olympic Qualification Tournament, the national team of Iran beat Canada in a long race.
As the Public Relations of volleyball federation reported, the national team of Iran beat Canada in Metropolitan arena in Tokyo 3-2 (27-29, 19-25, 25-20, 25-21, 16-14).
Mr. Arturo Di Giacomo from Belgium and Mr. Andrey Zenovich from Russia respectively as the first and second referees judged the match.
The starting players of Canada were Tyler Sanders, John Gordon Perrin, Nicholas Hoag, Justin Duff, Gavin Schmitt, Graham Vigrass, and Blair Cameron Bann while on the side Iran lined up with Saeid Marouf, Mohammad Mousavi, Adel Gholami, Amir Ghafour, Milad Ebadipour, and Mojtaba Mirzajanpour.
The president of Iran Volleyball Federation, Dr. Mohammad Reza Davarzani along with the vice-president of NF, Mr. Ziaei and the Secretary General, Mr. Afshardoust were of the other Iranian visitors who came to support the team at the stadium.
