Mohammad Mousavi joins Piacenza
TEHRAN – Iranian middle blocker Mohammad Mousavi joined Italian volleyball club Piacenza on Friday.
The 33-year-old player has penned a contract with the Italian team, headed by Lorenzo Bernardi, after a long and complex negotiation.
Mousavi has joined Piacenza from Iranian top-flight team Saipa.
He was transferred to Saipa from Polish club Indykpol AZS Olsztyn in June but left the team after several weeks.
At the club level he has collected 11 Iranian championships and eight AVC Club Championships in his career.
Mohammad Mousavi is a member of Iran National Team at the moment.
