Iran lost the 2nd friendly match against France
The national volleyball team of Iran lost the the second friendly match against the World League Champion.
As the Public Relations of Volleyball Federation reported, the second friendly match of Iran took place in Harnes. Iran lost to the host France in three straight sets (25-20, 25-19, 25-21).
The starting players of Iran were Milad Ebadipour, Mojtaba Mirzajanpour, Farhad Zarif, Saeid Marouf, Amir Ghafour, Adel Gholami, and Sayyed Mohammad Mousavi. Farhad Ghaemi and Shahram Mahmoudi were both injured and could not play in this match.
On the other hand Antonin Rouzier, Benjamin Toniutti, Kevin Tillie, Kevin Le Roux, Nicolas Le Goff, Toafa Takaniko, and Jenia Grebennikov arranged the team for France.
2000 fans watched the match onsite including 100 Iranians who unstoppably encourage their team. Christophe Lecourt and Ehsan Rejaeyan respectively as the first and second referees judged the match.
It is noteworthy to add that, the first friendly match occurred last night in Tourcoing on May 14 when Iran lost 3-1 and this was the second friendly match of them in Harnes. Iran and France are to fly out soon to Japan for Olympic Qualifier that will begin on May, 28.
