A Firing Start for Iranian National Men
The national volleyball team of Iran beat Australia in straight set.
As the Public Relations of volleyball federation reported, Japan’s Olympic Qualification Tournament has officially set up with the match of Asian teams that is Iran versus Australia.
The white-shirt starting players of Iran were Saeid Marouf, Mohammad Mousavi, Milad Ebadipour, Mojtaba Mirzajanpour, Amir Ghafour, and Farhad Zarif.
The green-shirt Australia were arranged with Aidan Zingel, Luke Perry, Nehemiah Mote, Samuel Walker, Grigory Sukochev, and Paul Carrol.
Iran beat Australia 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-18) in the first match of Qualifier to step strongly toward the 52-year-old dream of qualifying in Olympic.
FIVB President, Dr. Ary Graca along with the president of Iran Volleyball Federation, Dr. Mohammad Reza Davarzani watched the match on site. The vice-president of NF, Mr. Ziaei and the Secretary General, Mr. Afshardoust were of the other Iranian visitors who came to support the team at the stadium. Metropolitan embraced 10 Iranian fans as well.
